I bought a pack and the transaction was successful, but nothing was removed from my balance, and the item did not appear in my inventory. Why?

Sometimes when many people want to buy the same NFT at the same time, your transaction can be confirmed locally but then not executed on the blockchain. It's only completely gone through when you see the second confirmation window pop up.
